Hidden in the heart of northern Tanzania’s arid landscape is a place many visitors would hardly expect to find: the Chemka Hot Springs, also known as the Kikuletwa Hot Springs. Crystal-clear spring water rises to the surface from underground sources, forming several natural pools in vibrant shades of turquoise.
Surrounded by tall palm trees and shady trees, Chemka invites you to swim, relax, and linger. The pleasantly warm water remains nearly constant throughout the year, making the springs a popular destination after a safari or as a relaxing day trip from Arusha or Moshi.

How long does a trip take?
If you're coming from Arusha or Moshi, you should plan on spending about half a day on this trip. If you'd also like to go diving, you should plan for more time.
